It is used for Breakdown rolling of hot rolled and milled strands from 12mm to 5mm. It is equipped with microprocessor based controls and Lowery Robertson Automatic Gauge Control to ensure uniform thickness and the shape of the rolled strip.


For Intermediate cold rolling, from 5mm input to 0.6mm thickness. Equipped with online VOLLMER (Germany) thickness gauges & load cells with a speed of 250 mpm. The mill has Microprocessor control panel having features of auto slow down, tension compensation, diameter computation with SCADA and MMI.


For finish cold rolling from 0.6mm input to 0.1mm thickness. Equipped with online VOLLMER (Germany) thickness gauges, load cells. The mill has Microprocessor Control Panel.

ATMOSPHERE CONTROLLED BELL ANNEALING FURNACE

JUNKER,GERMANY ACID PICKLING AND BRUSHING LINE

For finish cold rolling from 0.6mm input to 0.035mm thickness equipped with Microprocessor control panel,
online VOLLMER thickness gauges & Automatic Gauge Control (AGC) at a speed of 500 mpm.


The cold rolled coils are annealed in a controlled atmosphere and temperature, to ensure uniform hardness, uniform lustre and bright surface. The furnaces are equipped with thyristorised on line PID temperature controlled

Acid pickling is carried out to clean the oxidized surface to ensure tarnish free surface of the coil for further rolling.

Edge trimming of the coils is essential done prior to further intermediate as well as finish cold rolling.





Precision slitting line, to slit into narrow width as per customer's requirement. The equipment is custom designed and built to produce smooth and uniform edges while maintaining surface integrity at a speed of 200 mpm.

The rolled coils are cut to length as per individual customers requirement. The equipment is equipped with flying shear, precision leveler, online inkjet printer with a speed of 40 mpm.









Each inspected and approved coil is individually wrapped with polyethylene or laminated crepe paper or VCI paper as per requirement on the automatic wrapping machine. For identification and tractability each coil is being labeled for its grade, size, thickness, temper, alongwith our AGRAWAL logo printed on a laser bar code printer. While final packing moisture desiccants are inserted in the box to avoid corrosion transit of the material.
